Higher level of legal knowledge of SPSUACE students

From 6 to 8th December, 2017 in the Assembly hall of SPSUACE a senior lecturer of the Department of History and Philosophy Sergey Kargapoltsev in the frameworks of "Week of legal knowledge» read a cycle of open lectures about sources and the semantic maintenance of such concepts of world and domestic jurisprudence as the Roman right, legal proceedings, patronage, regionalism, feedings, class and departmental courts, bureaucracy, procrastination , nomenclature, legal immunity, majorat , corruption, justice, civil society, administrative resource and so forth. Actions were dated to the International day of struggle against corruption (it is annually marked on 9th December). Also there were announced articles of the criminal code of Russian Federation anyhow concerning corruption - commercial payoff, summer residence and bribe reception, abusing and excess by office position, no-purpose expenditure of budgetary funds, swindle with use of office position, assignment or waste, office forgery, negligence, bribe provocation and so forth. In addition, the basic maintenance of operating N 273-FL «About corruption counteraction» from 25.12.2008 was explained.

Present students of I course actively asked questions to the lecturer and expressed their opinions on the given problems. The conclusion that today corruption in system of administrative hierarchy of all levels and power brokers represents a serious call for serviceable functioning of government and to well-being of citizens and that struggle against it demands public opposition and publicity.

On 8th December, 2017 students heard lectures «About corruption counteraction in town-planning sphere» and «Corruption - threat of national safety of the Russian Federation». The lectures were read by a senior lecturer of the Department of Legal Regulation of Town-planning Activity Emma Sharjapova and the dean of the Faculty of Forensic Investigation and Law in Construction and on Transport Dmitry Ivanov.

Higher level of students’ legal knowledge - guaranty of a civil society. Students received answers to actual questions demanding an accurate civic stand and expressed desire to continue similar meetings.
