23 - 24th November, 2017 III International scientific-practical conference «Safety in construction » was held in the St.-Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering.

Representatives of the St.Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering , St.Petersburg State University, St.Petersburg Polytechnic University, ITMO, Electrotechnical University ETU, St.Petersburg StateTechnological Institute ,St.Petersburg State Forest Technical University, St.Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and  Design, Russian State Social University, Pskov State University, BSTU of V.G.Shuhov, Syktyvkar Forest Institute, Vladimir State University of A. G. and N. G.Stoletovs  , Kaliningrad State Technical University, Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, the Saimaa University of Applied Sciences (Finland), International Academy of Sciences of Ecology, Human and Nature Safety, NOSTROY, scientific and technological centre "Standard",« National medical research centre of V.A.Almazov, joint-stock company VERFAU, "Rostelecom", Companies Tinowa Group (Czechia) were participants of the conference.

Safety perfection in construction according to the Convention IOL № 167 of 1988 and maintenance of the performance of requirements of Federal Law-384 about safety of users of buildings and constructions was the conference purpose.

Consideration of administrative, technical, educational and legal problems of safety in construction, labor safety and health protection of builders, safety for users of buildings and constructions, availability of buildings and constructions to invalids and other groups of the population with the limited traficabilities was the primary goal of the conference.

Within the limits of the conference there was held a session of the Branch of Federal academic-methodical association in a profile 20.00.00"Tehnosphere safety and environmental engineering », and also a scientific-methodical seminar with partners of the international project «SAFECON», representatives of committees of the Government of St.-Petersburg, National association of builders of the Russian Federation and building organizations.

Reports of the participants of the conference touched upon such pressing subjects, as: preparation of experts in the area of tehnosphere safety; labor safety in construction; safety of carrying out civil and erection works; industrial safety in construction and on transport, ecological safety; reasons, preventive maintenance and treatment of professional diseases; factory hygiene; ergonomics. According to the participants, similar meetings allow to exchange experience, to receive the information on the newest technologies connected with safety in construction.
