Invention patent was acquired

Invention of D.Sc. in engineering, professor of the Chair of Construction Technologies Verstov Vladimir V. and PhD in engineering, D.Sc. degree seeker of the chair of construction technologies Gaido Anton N. “Displacement method of thin wall steel shells with embedment into dense water resistant soil” was registered by the Federal service on intellectual property. There was issued Invention patent № 2549789 of the Russian Federation, exclusive rights of which belong to the Federal state budgetary educational institution of higher professional education “Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering”.

The given method refers to engineering sphere and can be used during erection of enclosing water resistant cellular bund walls in water areas, during formation of artificial islands, bund walls, mooring and enclosing constructions, including structures for protection against floods and etc. The invention is aimed at increasing reliability of erected enclosing constructions by providing a vertical position and coincidence of axes of embedded thin wall steel shells and their high water resistance due to fatigue failure of dense water resistant soil and decrease of drag powers of the specified soil against embedment of thin wall steel shells. This way obliquity of thin wall steel shells under their embedment into dense water resistant soil is eliminated as well as lateral deflection and deformation of walls of the shells.
