Starting in 2024, a new mechanism for targeted training and admission to higher educational institutions has been introduced. The corresponding resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation has been in effect since 1 May. Now customer proposals for concluding targeted training agreements will be publicly available - they must be posted on the “Work in Russia” platform. Applicants will be able to independently familiarize themselves with customer proposals and submit applications for targeted training simultaneously with submitting an application to the university in paper form (at the university admissions committee) or electronically (on the government services portal).
After completing the training, the graduate will need to work in the organization that acted as the customer for the training for at least 3 years.
The agreement for targeted training may stipulate the conditions for completing an internship with the customer. In addition, they may set requirements for the student's performance.
