On 14th November, 2017 a lecture « Control over a technical condition of buildings at carrying out geotechnical monitoring at construction works near operated buildings» was read to students of SPSUACE. The lecture was read by a deputy director of « Center of expert-technical support», the chief of the department on geotechnical monitoring L.M.Glozman. The organizer of the lecture was the department of building designs of SPSUACE.

L. M.Glozman told about carrying out geotechnical monitoring of construction from a zero cycle to an introduction of objects in operation. The monitoring is to prevent negative influence of civil works on surrounding buildings. At occurrence of deformations of nearby buildings the « Center of expert-technical support» gives out recommendations to builders on changing methods and technologies of construction works. According to the lecturer, geotechnical monitoring should be carried out by one specialized organization which is obliged to notify in due time the customer on any deviations from specifications.
