International Day of Persons with Disabilities is celebrated on 3 December. It was proclaimed by the United Nations with the aim of attracting public attention to the problems of people with physical or mental disabilities, improving their situation, and protecting their rights.

On this day, educational lectures and seminars, concerts, exhibitions of works by people with disabilities, and volunteer events are held.

SPbGASU has created an accessible environment for teaching people with disabilities.
