
On 28 November, the best students of St Petersburg in 2024 were awarded at the "Boiling Point. PromTechDesign" space. The competition was held under the auspices of the Committee on Science and Higher Education and the Council of Rectors of Universities of St Petersburg and the Leningrad Region.
SPbGASU students participated in four nominations out of 12 presented at the competition. In total, 225 applications were submitted for participation in the competition from all higher educational institutions of the city and the region. The best students will be awarded personal scholarships of the St Petersburg Government.
Among those awarded were representatives of SPbGASU.
Aigul Orazdurdyeva, a Master's student at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, First Deputy Chairman of the International Students Council, and head of the Mini-Tour, Helpers, and Eco-Tusa projects, was nominated for the award for the second year in a row. This year, she won in the "Best in Organizing Interethnic and International Cooperation (Tolerance)" category.
Polina Yurkova, a master's student at the Faculty of Architecture, a commissioner of the St Petersburg student archaeological squads and a member of the SPbGASU student squads headquarters, became a laureate of the competition in the nomination "Best in organizing the activities of student work teams."
