Albina Muratova, captain of team from Ufa State Petroleum Technological University: ‘It is the third time our University team takes part in Pasta Builder. We enjoyed our journey to Saint Petersburg, visit to SPbGASU and meeting new friends. Some of our students think of getting their Master’s degrees at SPbGASU’.
Shukhovtsy from Belgorod State Technological University named after V. G. Shukhov have already won Pasta Builder and this time were also primed for victory. Svetlana Zolotareva, captain: ‘Our team consists of third and fourth year students majoring in Industrial and Civil Engineering. Our University organizes such contest, too, and we have won the Towers category at home’.
The jury headed by Svetlana Golovina, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Head of the Department of Architectural and Engineering Constructions, estimated the works by efficiency, stability, strength, performance and architectural expressiveness.

Organization
SPbGASU students Maksim Petrovsky, Anastasia Krementsova and Kirill Bezdenelny were the members of Pasta Builder Organizing Committee. Kirill Bezdenelny: ‘This was my first experience as contest organizer and that was really interesting. This year team selection was stricter than later. We gave the participants modeling clay and pasta. The guys had to adapt to new contest rules, because the pasta for Towers was thicker and less than usual. The Organizing Committee also helped the participant to accommodate at the dormitory and solve problems. We advised free places for students in Saint Petersburg’.
