Dear friends!

The New Year has arrived – everyone’s favorite bright family holiday. It warms us with the meetings with loved ones, brings a special atmosphere of magic and gives faith in miracles.

In these pre-New Year hours, we bid farewell to the outgoing year and make plans for the future. Including due to the enormous selfless work of everyone who works in our field – scientists, teachers, mentors of scientific teams – our country confidently moves forward, focusing on its own national interests.

Together we have managed to strengthen the ties between universities, research institutes and Russian business. This includes both the creation of new technologies for specific tasks of enterprises and the training of highly qualified personnel.

Our priorities in the past year included the development of fundamental science and the attraction of talented young people to the field of research and development. I thank everyone whose experience, knowledge, intelligence and persistence allowed us to achieve quite noticeable success.

Ahead are new, no less large-scale tasks, new frontiers. In 2025, major work will continue to improve the national system of higher education, the implementation of national projects to ensure technological leadership will begin, and many other initiatives will be launched. Thanks to them, domestic science will become even more authoritative, and higher education - in demand, in turn, our country - stronger, more successful and prosperous.
