Evgeny Guryev, Associate Professor at the SPbGASU Department of History and Philosophy, became an expert on television. The story of the international television and radio company "Mir" was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the start of the operation on full liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi blockade "January Thunder", which is commemorated on 14 January.
“Through Leningrad to Kronstadt and then by sea, concentrated on Oranienbaum, secretly for the enemy at night throughout the summer and autumn of 1943, almost 30 thousand soldiers were transferred to the Oranienbaum bridgehead. It was from there that the main blow was to be delivered in the direction of Ropsha,” the historian said.
