Professor of the Chair of Technology of Building Materials and Metrology of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering Aleksey M. Kharitonov participated at the 4th Saint Petersburg international cultural forum. The event took place in the city on the Neva on December 14-16, 2015.
Within the forum Saint Petersburg union of restorers together with the Committee on state control, usage and protection of monuments of history and culture organized round table discussion “Efficiency technology: professional public organization in restoration economics, professional education and labor relations”.
The round table discussion was held on the basis of the workshop “Preservation of cultural heritage”. Its work is aimed at development of effective solutions in the sphere of preservation of monuments of history and architecture, popularization of cultural heritage objects, their infrastructure development and their adaptation to modern application, as well as discussion of mechanisms regulating urban planning in regions and search for instruments used for attraction of professional societies into the dialogue.
During the discussion professor of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering made the report “Union of restorers – platform for exchange of practical and scientific experience of specialists”. During the round table discussion there also made reports by Nina N. Shangina (D.Sc. in engineering, chairperson of the Council of Saint Petersburg Union of restorers, professor of Saint Petersburg state university of transport, a member of the Council for preservation of cultural heritage affiliated to Saint Petersburg government); Rafael M. Dayanov (full-fledge member of the International academy of architecture, chairperson of the Council for architectural and historic heritage of Saint Petersburg Union of architects), Aleksey S. Lapin (president of the Group of companies “Lapin Enterprise”, member of the Council of Saint Petersburg union of restorers), Vladimir L. Bykov (chairperson of the Committee for entrepreneurship in engineering and real estate market of Saint Petersburg chamber of trade and commerce”).
