On 23rd November, 2017 a round table «Problems and prospects of continuous education in the Russian Federation» which took place in frameworks of XI St.-Petersburg congress «Vocational training,  science and innovations in the XXI century» was held in SPSUACE.

Heads, teachers, employees, students of high and vocational schools, heads and employees of the scientific and industrial organizations, representatives of public authorities and business took part in the work of the round table.

• Themes of the discussion were:

• System of continuous education;

• Continuous education at professional training for digital economy;

• Creative development of the person in the system of continuous education;

• Continuous education of pedagogical workers;

• Secondary vocational education in the system of continuous education;

• Continuous education of heads and experts of the industrial sector as a way to increase power efficiency of capital construction objects;

• Education on transport as a vector of development of continuous education.

Active discussion of actual aspects of the theme allowed to develop a number of recommendations to directing bodies and educational organizations for the purpose to create conditions for improving the system of continuous education, to attract more attention of the state and society.
