Thus, Elena Panfilova, a graduate of the Department of Urban Development, developed the concept of a resort area in Sestroretsk.
– The goal is to create a comfortable multifunctional area here, which would include housing and public and business buildings. The "highlight" of this area should be a tourist cluster, which can attract many tourists here, – said Elena.
Ksenia Komarova, a Master’s degree student from the Department of Transport Systems, suggested launching night buses along city streets, which would arrive when passengers need them: they can be requested through a special mobile application. The innovation, she said, would help not only passengers, but also carriers, who often work at night at a loss.
– For the carrier, this is a cost reduction as the number of flights decreases. Buses will not make unproductive runs when there is no need for them, – notes Ksenia.
A graduate of the Department of Highways, Bridges and Tunnels Kristina Rulyova, at the request of the city authorities, dealt with the problem of wheel tracking. In her opinion, the solution is to use modern design methods and wheel-resistant asphalt pavements.
