From 26th February till 2nd March, 2018 the St.-Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering accepted representatives of Birmingham city university (Great Britain), who arrived as participants of the academic mobility on the program of European union Erasmus +.
Employees of the school of computer science and digital technics of the faculty of computer science, technics and the anthropogenous environment of Birmingham city university William Campbell and Martin Retcliff had busy agenda.
The visitors were welcomed by the head of the Department of international education and cooperation V.A.Artemjeva, deputy head of the Department Е. P.Selezneva, the dean on work with foreign students Y.V.Ivanova, the dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering A.N.Panin, deputy dean of the Faculty of Engineering Ecology and Municipal Economy I.I.Sukhanova and the head of the Department of Water Use and Ecology A. V.Kudryavtsev. The head of the Department of Information Technology A.A.Semenov told about their activity. There was a useful meeting with leaders of student's self-management of SPSUACE Vadim Klyovan and R.Artykov.
The foreign visitors had an excursion around the University; met heads of faculties,visited the departments of technology of building materials and metrology, geotechnics, water use and ecology and town-planning. The head of the Department of Geotechnics R.A.Mangushev organized a profile excursion to objects of the Petersburg dam, Kronstadt and Peterhof.
Directions of the future cooperation between two higher schools including joint scientific and educational projects were planned during the visit.
