In September, 2017 at the initiative of the company «Engineering bureau» there was declared a competition on working out a conceptual decision of an accomplishment of public space in front of the demonstration power-efficient office building and adjoining objects in the Admiralty area of St.-Petersburg.

Students of the Faculty of Architecture of SPSUACE who developed 28 conceptual projects of the accomplishment of public territory took part in the competition.

«All works presented on the competition became an example of a competent combination of current conditions of the territory, future characteristics of power- water efficiency and ecological compatibility of the object, and also our wishes», -said Vera Burtseva, the general director of «Engineering bureau»

The best concepts were offered by Fedorova Tamara, Shobuhova Olga, Arhipov Pavel, Frolova Ksenia and Gorjacheva Maria. The winners were awarded with special prizes from the partner of the enterprise- « NIIURS».

The building on the embankment of the Obvodny channel, 223-225 has become the first object which will be certified on three standards of power efficiency recognized in Russia - LEED, BREEAM and GREEN ZOOM. The management of «Engineering bureau» is planning to present projects of the competition winners to Administration of the Admiralty area of St.-Petersburg and to discuss realization of one of the projects on the joint terms.
