On 2 March, SPbGASU hosted an online round table with colleagues from the National Research Technological University MISIS. It summed up the results of the work on the implementation of educational programs for bachelor's and specialist degrees at SPbGASU using the online course "English for Engineers", developed by NRTU MISIS.

In accordance with the passport of the national project "Education", approved by the Presidium of the Council for Strategic Development and National Projects under the President of Russia, "by 2024, at least 20% of students in educational programs of higher education master certain courses, disciplines (modules), including those online, using the resources of other organizations engaged in educational activities, including universities, ensuring that the quality of training of students complies with the world level”.
In 2022/2023 academic year, for the first time, SPbGASU implements educational programs in a network form using an online course. For this, the discipline "Foreign Language" was chosen, which is studied by first-year bachelor's and specialist students of all modes of study.
The round table was opened by SPbGASU Vice-Rector for Academic Work Sergey Mikhailov, who greeted the participants and set the tone for further discussion. Presentations were made by the Head of the Service of Digital Transformation of Educational Programs Olga Balashova, the Head of the Division for Analytical Research and Quality Management Yulia Konstantinova and the Head of the Department of Intercultural Communication Elena Selezneva.
Colleagues from NRTU MISIS covered various aspects of the topic in their reports: Director for Digital Transformation Valery Prokudin, Head of the Educational and Methodological Department Yury Rishko, Director of the Institute of Basic Education Natalia Podvoiskaya, as well as teachers-developers of the online course Ekaterina Shchaveleva and Polina Ermakova.
During the discussion, not only the results of using the online course "English for Engineers" were covered, but also issues related to digital solutions in the educational process of universities, the technical aspects of developing and creating online courses, as well as the network form of implementing educational programs.
SPbGASU representatives thanked their colleagues from NRTU MISIS for their active participation, attentive perception of all questions and wishes regarding further cooperation.
