In 2020, the jubilee 15th All-Russian NAUKA 0+ Science Festival is going on: throughout the year, it will cover 300 sites in 80 regions of our country. Universities, museums, research centers, and innovative companies participate in the festival. Its organizer is the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation with the support of M.V. Lomonosov MSU, the Moscow Government, the Russian Academy of Sciences, and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
SPbGASU representatives at the event: Omar Shakshak, Anastasia Bergman, Vladimir Gabidulin, Daria Roshchupkina
In mid-October, within the framework of the festival, a round table named "Mechanisms for the development of scientific and technical entrepreneurship and commercialization of innovations" was held at SPbGASU in the online format.
Master’s, Specialist’s, and Bachelor’s degree students and young scientists from both our university and third-party organizations participated in the event. Four of the presented papers were specifically highlighted.
✔ Omar Shakshak, postgraduate student of the Department of Computer Science, represented the team of the Multifunctional VR Application for the Construction Industry project, which also included students of the Faculty of Economics and Management Angelina Belyayeva, Ivan Krynin and Konstantin Zuyev.
Thanks to the joint efforts of the team, the project reached the final of the All-Russian competition for young entrepreneurs 2020.
The speaker explained the advantages of the project in comparison with existing applications. "Our application allows one to move in the three-dimensional space of the future object, and the openness of the system helps to adapt the functionality to the requirements of the customer," explained Omar Shakshak. The application is available on any device without installation of additional software, which significantly speeds up the work.
✔ Relevance and scientific novelty distinguished the report of the postgraduate student of the Department of History and Theory of Architecture Anastasia Bergman named "The concept of a linear park in Rostov-on-Don". In 2020, Anastasia took first place in the "Student of the Year 2020" competition. She spoke about the principles that formed the basis of the volumetric-spatial model of a linear park on the coastal territory, developed by studying the typology of such parks. In addition, while developing the concept, the postgraduate student identified the main problems of the site for the park, and also analyzed the historical aspects of the formation of the coastal territory of the Temernik River. The results of the survey of residents showed that they would like to see natural vegetation and access to water as the main components of the park.
✔ Participants also praised the speech of the student of the Automobile and Road Faculty Vladimir Gabidulin on "Researching ways to improve the technical level of snow plows based on tractor chassis". Vladimir took 3rd place at the All-Russian Student Olympiad, and also won the SPbGASU-2019 grant competition. The results he obtained can be used in the development of technical specifications for the modernization of machines of the type under study, which, in its turn, will help to solve such an urgent problem for Russia as maintaining high practicability of roads in winter.
✔ Daria Roshchupkina's report was dedicated to the CityStat marketplace startup, which she developed together with Ivan Krynin, Timur Sultanov and Anton Spirin. Within the framework of the system that is proposed to create, it is possible to combine all the relevant data about inhabitants of the city and the external conditions that affect the city life. Interested organizations will be able to obtain such information from the system for management, business and research purposes to increase the efficiency of these processes.
