Russia Day

On Russia Day, solemn events, festivals, concerts, sports competitions are held throughout the country.


This holiday, which unites people regardless of their nationality, religion, profession, symbolizes the unity, freedom and good consent of Russians, their common responsibility for the present and future of the Motherland. On June 12, we celebrate the main state holiday of our country - Russia Day. It was on this day in 1990 that the Congress of People's Deputies of the RSFSR adopted one of the most important historical documents – the Declaration of State Sovereignty of the Russian Federation. This day became a holiday date in 1992, and received its official name "Russia Day" in 2002.
