Safety drill was conducted at SPbGASU
A safety drill to train emergency actions in the event of finding an explosive device was organized by Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering on 27 October on the premises of the Faculty of Automobile and Road Building.
The security guards reported finding an ‘explosive item’ and sealed off the danger area. According to the drill scenario, the item was detected by a watchman on the ground floor of the main staircase. {gallery name="ВЗРЫВ10"}
Everyone in the building was notified on command, after which the people were promptly and orderly evacuated using the emergency exit.
Vice Rector for Administrative Affairs Vladimir Solovyov reviewed the organization of the evacuation drill, having acknowledged a significant contribution by Andrey Zazykin, Dean of the Faculty of Automobile and Road Building.
The practice of conducting emergency training on the university campus will be continued.
