This year, the headquarters of student squads of the St Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering gained new experience in participating in international projects of Russian Student Squads (RSS).
Eliza Iskuzhina, a student at the University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, who completed her first year of study at the Faculty of Civil Engineering this year, became the commissioner of the International Student Construction Squad "Bosphorus" - the international student construction squad of the Youth All-Russian Public Organization RSS, the State Corporation "Rosatom" and JSC "Concern "TITAN-2".
Eliza went to the Mediterranean coast to the construction of the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant in Turkey. In winter, she took part in this project as a participant, and six months later she became one of the organizers.
"I am studying to be a builder. I like this industry because it is connected with energy and development. You can see with your own eyes the results of your work and the work of thousands of people. And at a nuclear power plant this is even more noticeable, because we are at the largest nuclear construction site in the world, which immediately adds scale and, of course, responsibility.
The Bosphorus ISCS is the largest international project: 102 members. For the first time, such a large number of RSS fighters left Russia, compared to last year, it has doubled. For me, being the Bosphorus ISCS commissioner is solving seemingly impossible tasks that you face every day. My goal as the project commissioner is to make this summer unforgettable for the guys,” said Eliza.
