Since January 2013, SPbGASU has had a certified quality management system (QMS).

The quality management system is a set of management processes based on the study of best practices and aimed at continuous improvement of the educational process in terms of quality. The main goal of using the QMS is to help the university in the stable provision of students and other interested parties with services that can meet their requirements and expectations.

The certificate must be confirmed every three years, and this requires constantly maintaining, measuring and improving the quality indicators of the educational institution.

On 3–4 December, 2024, our university underwent a recertification audit of the quality management system for compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 for educational services in the field of educational activities under higher and advanced professional education programmes for Russian and foreign citizens, scientific research and innovation, expert activities and design engineering services in architecture, construction, housing and municipal services and the automobile and road complex.

On 16 December, 2024, the Certification Association "Russian Register - Baltic Inspection" confirmed the compliance of the SPbGASU quality management system with the requirements of the national standard GOST R ISO 9001-2015 "Quality Management Systems. Requirements" (international standard ISO 9001:2015).

The QMS certification gives the university such advantages as increased chances of concluding agreements and contracts, improved image, increased competitiveness, and a stronger position in a comprehensive assessment.

Having a certified QMS is one of the guarantees of the quality of the university’s activities.
