On 27th October, 2016 a round table devoted to an estimation and development of design managers’ skills took place at  St.-Petersburg state  university of architecture and civil  engineering.  It was organized by Faculty of Economics and Management of SPSUACE and  Petersburg branch of the International institute of design management (PMI).

The round table was conducted by I.Snegova, the vice-president of the branch PMI. The program included acquaintance to global standard PMCDF PMI (Project Manager Competency Development Framework), and also discussion of the list of necessary skills in  groups of processes and subject domains of design management.

The second part of the meeting provided analysis of a case of progressive company Timeweb about introduction of an estimation system of heads of projects. The case was presented by employees of the company J.Medvedev and M.Pecherskaya. Themes of design committees, design offices, technologies of skills estimation were mentioned. The meeting passed in easy, friendly atmosphere.
