Slavonic Literature and Culture Day
Every year on May 24, Russia and other countries celebrate the Slavonic Literature and Culture Day. This holiday is inextricably linked with the Saints Cyril and Methodius, the enlighteners who created the Slavic alphabet and initiated the enlightenment of the Slavs in their native languages.
