The guests talked with the deans of the faculties, received information on fields of study and specializations, educational programs, achievements of the university, visited scientific and technical laboratories, master classes and lectures.
Applicants could see that studying at SPbGASU is difficult, but interesting and provides excellent career prospects. Extracurricular life provides a lot of opportunities for scientific, sports and creative self-realization, too.
This Open Day was the final one before the 2023 admission campaign. Therefore, much attention was paid to the procedure for admission and enrollment in budget places.
Elvira Tkachenko, Deputy Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee, told the guests about the ways to submit documents - from 19 June, they can be brought to the university in person, sent through a single portal of public services or an applicant's personal account on the university's website, and also sent by mail. A feature of the upcoming admission campaign will be the need to indicate in the application for admission up to five fields of study in order of their priority for the applicant. The original certificate must be submitted to the university before 12:00 on 3 August.
