On 11 October, it was the seventh time that the educational event “All-Russian Economic Dictation”. This year its theme was “Strong Economy – Prosperous Russia!” The dictation was devoted to issues of the economic history of our country, memorable historical and economic dates, as well as modern economic processes and those practical issues of economic life that each of us faces.

Every time more and more participants join this event: according to the Free Economic Society, this year more than 340 thousand people registered for the economic dictation.

St Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering annually acts as a regional platform for the dictation. This year, fourth-year students of the Faculty of Economics and Management took an active part in writing it. All-Russian economic dictation allows students to demonstrate their knowledge acquired during training on various issues of economic science: the history of economic doctrines, macroeconomics and enterprise economics.
