Timur Yusupov thanked for the invitation and expressed hope for further cooperation between the consulate and the university.

Students answered the quiz questions, tasted oriental dishes and had a lot of fun listening to inspiring oriental melodies. The hosts, Sabrinakhon Solehzoda and Aigul Orazdurdiyeva, did everything to make Nowruz at SPbGASU pass in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

As Sabrinahon said, the preparation for the celebration was exciting. “ISC is like one big family. Until late at night, we were cooking pilaf, flat cakes and a milk drink together, so that our guests would be full and happy, ”she said. According to Aigul Orazdurdyeva, the whole council participated in the organization of the holiday. They prepared dishes, rehearsed the script, chose music, made decorations for the hall. The process was led by the chairman of the ISC Antonia Angelova.

According to the organizers, the purpose of such events is to unite people, acquaint them with the culture of other nations, and arouse interest among Russian students in studying the traditions of different countries.
