Botir Ibragimov, First Vice-Rector for strategic development of Samarkand State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, at the ceremony of signing the memorandum of cooperation

From 15 to 19 April, an official visit of the SPbGASU delegation to partner universities of the Republic of Uzbekistan took place. The delegation was headed by First Vice-Rector Svetlana Golovina, and included Vice-Rector for Educational Activity Sergey Mikhailov, Head of the International Relations Division Shuainat Akhmadulaeva and Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee Ilya Gladushevsky.

Meetings were held with the management team of the Tashkent State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Tashkent State Transport University and Samarkand State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.

The negotiation participants discussed opportunities for the implementation of network basic and additional educational programs, the organization and conduct of joint international summer schools, the development of academic mobility of students and teachers, the main directions and forms of contacts in the field of research work, as well as in solving the problems of digital transformation.

The result of the visit to the Samarkand State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering was the signing of a new memorandum of cooperation, the subject of which was interaction in the field of training specialists, conducting scientific research and improving the educational process.

The parties expressed their intention to strengthen partnerships, emphasizing the important role of cooperation between universities in the development of science, education and cultural contacts between countries.
