According to the results of the sixth edition of the Global Aggregated Ranking, SPbGASU entered the top 10 percent of universities in the world.
Quite often, the same university appears in different positions in different international rankings. The Global Aggregated Ranking (GAR) was created in order to bring the range of rankings to a common denominator. Today, it includes 13 of the most authoritative global institutional rankings and one public database.
The new version of the ranking includes 3987 universities from 140 countries, including 165 Russian universities (which is twelve universities more than last year). This year, Russia not only maintained its position in the overall list by the number of universities represented in the GAR, but also managed to rise one position compared to last year, taking fourth place.
