According to the results of the fifth edition of the Global Aggregated Ranking, SPbGASU entered the top 10% of the best universities in the world.
Often the same university finds itself in different positions in different international rankings. In order to bring the pool of ratings to a common denominator, the Global Aggregated Rating (GAR) was created. Today it includes 13 of the most authoritative global institutional ratings and a consolidated database of accredited programs of European and Asian quality assurance agencies.
The latest version of the ranking includes more than 3.5 thousand universities from 132 countries, of which 153 are Russian (which is nine universities more than last year). Despite the sanctions, Russia not only maintained its position in the general list in terms of the number of universities represented in the GAR, but was also able to rise one position compared to last year, taking fifth place.
According to the results of the Global Aggregated Ranking 2024, SPbGASU entered the top 10% of the best universities in the world, taking 79th place among 2,500 universities.
