On March 25, the St. Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering hosted the Interregional Scientific and Practical Conference with international participation "Problems of economic security in the context of economy digitalization." The organizers were the SPbGASU Department of Economic Security and the Eurasian Institute of Legal Research and Economic Development (Kazakhstan).
The conference was attended by representatives of the Committee for Economic Policy and Strategic Planning of St. Petersburg, the Research and Design Center of the General Plan of St. Petersburg, the Department of Urban Development of Samara, the North-Western Branch of the Russian State University of Justice, the State University of the Sea and River Fleet named after Admiral S. O. Makarov, St. Petersburg State Agrarian University, Military Academy of the General Staff, Volga State University of Telecommunications and Informatics, Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
“The conference participants focused on issues of economic activity under sanctions and ensuring economic security. During the period of sanctions, it is possible to consider a closed economy and foreign economic activity controlled by a special commission under the Government of the Russian Federation, which involves the redistribution of economic, labour and other resources in the regions; reduction of the tax base for both enterprises and individuals - at the federal and regional levels; reorientation of foreign economic activity to the East and Asia. Then we will not lose anything - but this will depend on the correct alignment of technological and logistics chains: supplies, delivery, production. It is necessary to accelerate certain digital economic processes, which will ensure economic security,” says Anatoly Modenov, head of the SPbGASU department of economic security.
The organizers intend to continue holding conferences on topical issues of modern legal regulation of economic development and economic security in the construction industry, including those involving students.
✔ As a result of the conference, an electronic collection of materials with indexing in the RSCI will be released.
