From September 27 to September 30, 2018 19th Finnish-Russian Cultural Forum took place in Savonlinna, Finland where Assistant Professor Petukhova from the Department of Architectural and urban planning heritage represented SPbGASU.
Forum participants discussed partner projects in the sphere of culture. The negotiations with organization “Repola-seura”, Finland, resulted in SPbGASU partnership in Karelian village Repola restoration. Science, education and culture ideas supporting fund “Traektoria”, Moscow, which also took part in negotiations, had plans to create science and practice schools for students to study wooden architecture in the village Gafostrov. The project “Kalevala Technologies School in Gafostrov” won presidential grant summer competition.
The parties came to tentative agreement on SPbGASU, “Repola-seura” and “Traektoria” partnership in Repola and Gafostrov restoration and SPBGASU students’ field works there.
