From September 23 to September 28, 2018 SPbGASU participated in outreach events to promote higher education in Russia and involve foreign students in Jakarta (Indonesia). Veronika A. Artemyeva, Head of the Department of International Education and Cooperation, was SPbGASU representative.

The opening session was on September 24 in the Russian Centre for Science and Culture in Jakarta. Meetings with Russian ambassador in Indonesia, head of the Russian Centre for Science and Culture in Jakarta, heads of Departments of the Ministries of Higher Education and Culture (Indonesia) and Education and Science (Russia), heads of the leading universities of Jakarta and an excursion to an Indonesian school were held under the outreach events.
