SPbGASU at the Taurida – ART Festival
This summer, talented young people from all over the country gathered at the Taurida - ART Festival in the Crimea. Many famous guests were invited to Capsel Bay (Sudak): master classes, auditions and other events were held here to support young festival participants, help them implement their creative ideas, find like-minded people, and receive support for the development of their projects.
SPbGASU students were among the participants of the festival. We asked them to speak about how they spent this time on the Crimean coast.
“Our shift lasted for three days. We were to create an art object. Teams prepared layouts, presentations, and costing; the work was quite intensive. Our art object was the brain of a creative person. We gained experience in teamwork, talked with interesting people.”
“My shift was called a ‘Taurida Project Office’ and was exceptionally intense. Actions would start at 7 a.m.; the day was tightly mapped out by minutes,” recalls Angelina Krasavina, an SPbGASU student.
HOW THE FESTIVAL IS ARRANGED
Work at Taurida - Art was organized by the principle of art blocks. Each art block was a thematic creative space dedicated to a separate line of culture and art. The young festival participants lived, worked, and studied in the open air.
According to Evgenia Dziuba, captain of the SPbGASU KVN team “Bridget Jones’ Women Team”, Taurida - ART was the largest casting venue in the country. Those included pre-casting of the New Wave International Competition; casting for the Golos TV show and a Channel One TV series; castings of the STS Media and KVN Premier League, as well as a pitch session of the National Media Group.
Two Guinness records were set at the festival. And on the main stage, concerts with the participation of Russian performers were held every evening.
