SPbGASU was represented at the forum by Vice-Rector for Youth Policy Irina Lapina, Head of the Department of Social and Extracurricular Work with Students Irina Nuryeva, and a second-year Master’s degree student of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Municipal Services Mikhail Rumyantsev.
The event kicked off in the multimedia historical park "Russia is my history" by showing a video about the Rzhevsky memorial to soldiers of the Great Patriotic War, which opened this year in honor of the 75th anniversary of Victory. Further, within the framework of the forum, several lecture sites operated.

Mikhail Rumyantsev attended the “Environment and Urbanization,” “Scientific Development,” and “Historical Reconstruction” sites, where he learned a lot about separate waste collection, the problem of dependence on social networks, and visited the exposition of items from the Great Patriotic War. The event ended with a concert at the Pulkovets Youth House.
“The most interesting thing was to hear about the impact of the Internet, about how strongly social networks influence the formation of our opinions on various issues. I was also greatly impressed by the exhibition with household items, uniforms and weapons of soldiers of the Great Patriotic War,” said Mikhail Rumyantsev.
According to the Master’s degree student, the essence of such events is educating young people in the spirit of patriotism and involving them in solving pressing social problems.
