2. Practical part of the professional exam
According to Maya Sviridova, director of the Autoprom North-West industrial cluster, such a collaboration between academic circles, business, government, industry organizations is in line with the state's personnel policy, and this is one of the most important and shortest ways to form young engineering personnel.
MAHA Russia became the supplier of equipment for the new training site. Its General Director Oleg Spiridonov, who has been cooperating with the SPbGASU department of transport maintenance for a long time, noted that the new training site is well-equipped.
The training site consists of two blocks, the first of which is a student design bureau. Students can work on projects to create and improve the structural elements of vehicles: a computer lab is equipped, a section for working with composite materials, and a mechanical section will be fully staffed by September 1. On the five-coordinate milling machine created according to a unique project, it is possible to produce body plumage parts using modern technologies. Not only road students are welcome here, but also representatives of other faculties interested in technical creativity. In addition, a driving training ground has been equipped, where students of a driving school are engaged, members of the university driving club are training.
The second block is a training car service for mastering car maintenance and repair technologies. It includes maintenance posts with lifts and oil change units, tire fitting equipment with appropriate machines, a camber-toe adjustment stand, a computer diagnostics post, a full-fledged diagnostic line with a brake stand, a wheel slip control stand, a suspension condition monitoring stand, a lift with a built-in backlash detector, a headlight control device, a post for monitoring environmental parameters, etc. Modern equipment is designed for training in the framework of basic educational programs, as well as programs for additional professional education of the SPbGASU Institute for continuing education and professional retraining.
Andrey Zazykin, dean of the Faculty of automobile and road building, and Sergey Evtyukov, director of the SPbGASU Institute for traffic safety, thanked the university administration, heads of departments and Svetlana Bochkareva, chief architect of the SPbGASU design studio, for their help in creating a new training site.
On the same day, the practical part of the professional exam took place in the new training center as part of a pilot project of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia and the National Agency for the Development of Qualifications. The purpose of the project is to test the combination of the state final, intermediate certification and independent assessment of qualifications (GIA-NOK). Eight students of the SPbGASU Faculty of automobile and road building confirmed the level of their qualifications in front of the experts of the Qualifications Assessment Center of the industrial cluster management company "Union "Avtoprom North-West"".
Since this year, our university has been participating in the GIA-NOK project with three educational programs: 23.03.03 "Operation of transport and technological machines and complexes", profile "Automobiles and automobile economy"; 23.05.01 "Land transport and technological machines", profile "Lifting and transportation, construction, road vehicles and equipment"; and 15.03.03 "Applied Mechanics", profile "Computational Mechanics and Computer Engineering".
The university is implementing the project jointly with the industrial cluster "Avtoprom North-West", combining the state final certification and an independent assessment of the qualifications of graduates to confirm the qualification level 31.00400.04 "Master of the repair area for the maintenance, repair of motor vehicles and their components" (6 th level of qualification) within the framework of professional standard 31.004 "Specialist in mechatronic vehicle systems". Other specialized companies are also showing interest in cooperation with the university.
