"SPbGASU is always on the list of winners"
The 24th Assembly of Young Scientists and Specialists, which was held in St. Petersburg on December 12, 2019, brought together the best representatives of the scientific community. The grandiose event aimed at popularizing scientific, technical and educational activities of young people, included the award ceremony for the winners of grant competitions of the St. Petersburg Government Committee for Science and Higher Education and St. Petersburg Government scholars. SPbGASU students and teachers were among the awardees.

“The names of our students and young scientists are always on the list of winners. This year was no exception,” said one of the award winners, associate professor of the SPbGASU Department of Ground Transport and Technological Machines, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists Nikolai Podoprigora. “This is a significant event. I wish there were more such competitions for young scientists.”

Representatives of state authorities, members of the Government of St. Petersburg, the Council of University Rectors of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, and other organizations took part in the Assembly. Rector Evgeny I. Rybnov headed the delegation of SPbGASU at the Assembly together with the vice-rector for scientific work Irina V. Drozdova.
SPbGASU provides comprehensive support to young scientists, pays considerable attention to the development of their potential and the implementation of scientific ideas, holds in-house grant competitions that contribute to the implementation of the "Science" and "Education" national projects.
