SPbGASU Master Students Visited the Governor's Ball

The governor's New Year's student ball was held in St Petersburg. More than 700 students of the city, who distinguished themselves in studies, scientific, artistic and technical work, in sports, and social life, became its participants. Among them were Andrey Zima and Anastasia Atamuratova, first year maaster students at the SPbGASU Faculty of Architecture.

“I am happy that the university gave me the opportunity to participate in such a large-scale event for St Petersburg students. For me, the invitation to the ball was a great honor. The program was rich: interactive digital entertainment, historical dances to classical music performed by a brass band, a disco to modern hits, a buffet table, presentation of gifts, and most importantly, live communication. It was a real holiday, an indescribable atmosphere was felt”, Andrey Zima shared his impressions.

Andrey is the author of more than 15 scientific publications, including publications from the HAC list. Last year, he became a scholarship holder of the President of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Russian Federation, the Government of St Petersburg for achievements in studies and research activities.

Anastasia Atamuratova liked the unusual, solemn format of the ball. The student actively participates in architectural competitions. In 2021, Anastasia won the Grand Prix of the first All-Russian competition “Student of the Year. Architects".
