SPbGASU psychological support service keeps working

The SPbGASU psychological support service continues its work online. Over the past week, psychologist of the Department of Social and Extracurricular Work with Students Tatyana Yarulina took part in two distance sessions.

Online event

On April 16, 2020, a remote round table entitled “A New Reality in the Work of Psychological Services: Ethics, Digital, Social Distance” took place. Heads of the psychological services Irina Makarova (HSE), Kirill Khlomov (RANEPA), Tatyana Yudina (MIPT) and Maya Kulygina (MGIMO) took part in it. The round table was held as part of the 13th International Distance Conference “Teenagers in a Metropolis: Inequalities and Opportunities."

The focus was on the work of university psychological services in the context of distance learning:

  • Ethics of psychological counseling and the work of psychological services;
  • Building an alliance and psychotherapeutic relationships;
  • Clinical aspects of the psychologists activities: new problems and organization of care.

On April 17, representatives of our university held an online meeting with psychologists from St. Petersburg State University and St. Petersburg University of the Ministry of State Fire Services of Emercom of Russia, which was dedicated to discussing new forms of work, new challenges and new opportunities for psychological education.
