SPbGASU Representatives Spoke at the Forum on Russian TIM Solutions
Representatives of the Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering shared their experience in using domestic software in the educational process as part of the RosTIM-2022 forum. This is a major event dedicated to Russian solutions in the field of information modeling technologies (TIM) for all stages of the life cycle of industrial and civil construction projects. The organizers of the event were Ascon and Renga Software companies.

✔ This year, more than 20 software development companies presented their solutions, and developers, representatives of the customer service, design organizations, state expertise, educational institutions, and experts in the field of construction digitalization spoke about the results of their application.
Denis Nizhegorodtsev, director of the SPbGASU laboratory of digital building information models, presented a report on the topic “The role of the general data environment in the training of students and specialists in the construction industry” within the section “Development of the human resources potential of the construction industry”. On the topic representatives of ASCON, Vysotskiy Consulting, BimTech, INFARS, PSS GRITEK, NAICS and others also presented their reports.
“It was important for us to talk about the experience of our university at an event of this level, and we are pleased that it interested the audience. During the forum, professionals from companies of various profiles discussed and noted the advantages and disadvantages of domestic software, the prospects for its use in the design, construction and operation of capital construction projects. Our report reflected a unique approach to the use of domestic software in the educational process, which aroused great interest,” – Denis Nizhegorodtsev noted on the results of the forum.
