SPbGASU representatives took part in the Career Centres Conference
On 17–18 November, the Russian International Olympic University (Sochi) hosted a conference entitled “Career Centres in the Russian and International Paradigms: Interaction with Russian and International Students, Graduates and Employers”, organised by the All-Russian Association of Career Centres. Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering was represented by Marina Malyutina, Head of the Studies Administration, and Darya Fedorova, lead specialist of the university’s career service.

Representatives of universities, relevant ministries and government agencies discussed the tasks of career centres and issues of alumni employment, expectations for young professionals and competencies required for Russian students and graduates.
Specialists from university career centres exchanged experience in working with students, graduates and employers, promoting the employment of current students and alumni, and formulated proposals for the development of career service tools and main areas of the Association’s further activities.
"Participation in the conference is part of our work as a member of the All-Russian Association of Career Centres. We share experience with our colleagues in order to provide effective assistance to students and alumni with regard to internships, career guidance and job search," said Marina Malyutina.
"Specialists of career centres from different regions have presented their large-scale projects to promote the employment of students and graduates. The exchange of experience will allow us to bring innovative approaches to this work at SPbGASU," emphasized Darya Fedorova.
