SPbGASU students are transport reform volunteers

SPbGASU students became transport reform volunteers. Volunteers help passengers navigate the changes in routes, calculate transfer fees and choose the best way to travel. You can recognize a volunteer by a bright vest and a “Volunteer of Transport Reform” badge.

Karina Sarkisova, a student of the faculty of automobile and road building, took part in the volunteer movement and shared the details: «I learned about the need for volunteers at public transport stops from the Transport Committee's VK official group. I decided to apply to participate in order to help people understand the innovations and learn more about the problems of passengers. Volunteer work helped me acquire knowledge and observations that can later be applied both in educational and professional activities».

Work of the most active volunteers was noted by the Transport Committee. Among them was Karina, who was presented with a letter of thanks and a memorable gift by Vadim Arsenyev, the head of the Transportation Organizer SPI.

✔ On July 15, the final stage of the transport reform started in St Petersburg. Among its goals are the replacement of rolling stock, the optimization of the route network, and the improvement of transportation safety.
