SPbGASU Students Met Ole Gustavsen, Norwegian Architect

On February 25, 2019, Ole Gustavsen, architect and designer from Snøhetta (Norway), Rector of the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO), read a lecture Snøhetta and Landscape Architecture in the Arctic to SPbGASU students.

Ole Gustavsen also met Evgeny I. Rybnov, SPbGASU Rector, had a talk with SPbGASU Top Management and Faculty of Architecture representatives. They discussed education organization at Oslo School of Architecture and Design and prospects for international cooperation.

At the lecture he told about Snøhetta staff, their projects and working methodology. Ole Gustavsen showed their first work, library in Alexandria, Egypt, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and more. He also mentioned small projects like Norwegian Wild Reindeer Pavilion where anybody can overlook not only wild animals, but also the mountain Snøhetta which gave its name to the company.

International relations are one of the key priorities to SPbGASU. Students, scientists and staff actively participate in international exchange programmes, workshops, summer schools and projects.
