SPbGASU Students Took Part in the High-Tech-2022 Championship
From 7 to 11 November, within the framework of the national project "Labour Productivity", the International Championship of high-tech professions Hi-Tech and the II Cup for rationalization and productivity, organized by the Agency for the Development of Skills and Professions, were held in Ekaterinburg. About 600 representatives of the largest industrial companies in Russia and other countries competed in 34 Hi-Tech competencies and eight competitive directions of the Cup. The SPbGASU team took part in the Engineering Design competency.

The Engineering Design competency was dedicated to the design of buildings and structures for various purposes, including networks and engineering support systems, using information modeling technology.
“Every year, our students pass a serious selection to the team and compete on equal terms in the national championship with professionals. Their consistently high results are an indicator of the level of training at the university,” said Nikita Gorovoy, assistant at the Department of Computer Science (compatriot expert (mentor and representative of the contestants) of the High-Tech 2022 championship).
The SPbGASU student team consisted of Daniil Lukanin, a third-year student of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Municipal Services, who was responsible for the choice of technologies, took part in the competition; Khachik Yeritsyan, fourth-year student of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, who worked on the section "Design of Building Structures"; Daria Tsyplakova, fourth-year student of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, whose area of responsibility included information modeling; and Olga Dudakova, a fourth-year student at the Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Municipal Services, who developed solutions for electrical equipment and lighting.
As compatriot experts responsible for the preparation and organization of the team work, the assistant at the Department of Computer Science Nikita Gorovoy and the assistant at the Department of Metal and Timber Constructions Viktor Tsyganovkin took part in the competition.
Timur Agayev, manager of the “Engineering Design” competence of the Agency for the Development of Skills and Professions, highly appreciated the work of our university experts at the championship site: “Thanks to the SPbGASU team, which worked hard for three days along with industry specialists. The participants included teams from such companies as Rosatom, EVRAZ, Rosneft, NLMK, JSC NIPIGAZ. According to the results of the competition, representatives of SPbGASU took 10th place in the team standings. In the Information Modeling of Buildings and Structures section, our team took seventh place, leaving NIPIGAZ JSC and NLMK Engineering behind.
Thus, SPbGASU representatives were able to show results at the level of leading specialists of the largest companies. Congratulations on a good result and we wish you continued success!
