"The area of this town is quite interesting: the abundance of water resources and the history of the place, expressed in objects of cultural heritage, allow it to be developed as a tourist hub. Most tourists come here to visit the Oreshek fortress. My task was to make them want to and be able to stay longer," Vasilisa said.
According to the author, not only tourism issues were addressed in her work. The project was designed with local residents’ interests in mind. Each functional area will be able to exist independently of the other elements, and each new building will serve to improve the overall system. The central building of research laboratories consists of independent blocks, filled according to current needs, and a pedestrian ring-gallery connects them to each other," informed Ekaterina.

It uses the principles of inclusion in the context of the territory, preserving the 'spirit of place'. There are references to the shipbuilding theme. The building is to be finished with wood as a reminder of the Forestry Exchange, which was located in the area.
