On 21–23 October, the 3rd All-Russian Seminar on Educational Work with Students of Higher Education Institutions took place in Moscow. SPbGASU was represented by Irina Nuryeva, Head of Division for Social and Extracurricular Student Activities.

The seminar, organised jointly by the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, was attended by more than 400 representatives of universities from 76 regions of the Russian Federation.

Participants have discussed the transformation of educational activities in higher education institutions and the resetting of approaches to their organisation taking into account the digitalisation of higher education and the individual approach to students. A panel discussion was held with the participation of the Ministry’s representatives.

"Discussing these issues is not only important for extracurricular work in the university, but also for the entire higher education environment. Identifying common approaches to educating students, introducing educational components into the teaching and learning process, and building a systematic approach to working with students – these are the main topics we have been able to discuss at the seminar. And the most valuable thing was the exchange of experience with colleagues from other higher education institutions," said Irina Nuryeva.
