At the Youth EEF session ‘Intellectual Property as a Driver of Development for Individuals, Corporations, Regions and Nations’, organised by the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) and the All-Russian Society of Inventors and Rationalizers, Alexey presented the utility model he developed together with colleagues from the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia entitled "Injector of Internal Combustion Diesel Engine", which is primarily designed for diesel engines with a split fuel injection system on KAMAZ vehicles with mechanical fuel distribution.

The injector design allows diagnosis of the vehicle's fuel system without being removed from the vehicle. The tool makes it possible to create an integrated diesel diagnostic system, reducing the cost of operating vehicles in harsh conditions and in remote areas.

In addition, Alexey Marusin took part in two other thematic sessions. The session entitled ‘Councils of Young Scientists of the Far East: The Scale of Regional and Federal Communication' was initiated by the Coordination Council for Youth Affairs in the Sphere of Science and Education under the Presidential Council for Science and Education and the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs. The session was held as part of the Strategy for Scientific and Technological Development of Russia, the National Programme for the Development of the Far East, and the Year of Science and Technology. The session participants, including the SPbGASU representative, reviewed the work of the councils of young scientists both at the level of regional interaction and as part of their integration into federal scientific initiatives, including the grant support to young scientists. {gallery name="ВЭФ"}

The session ‘Why Legal Literacy is Vital for Young Entrepreneurs’ addressed the legal framework of business regulation and state protection mechanisms available.
