On May 03, 2016 student archeological team “Lin” returned from the Spring guard of memory.

During five days students of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering conducted archaeological excavations as members of the Interregional student expedition “Gaytolovo-2016”. Students of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering investigated over 100 square meters of wetlands 10-60 sm. deep, and ditches. There were found ones of 2 soldiers of the Red army. In addition students found weapon, ammunition, and soldiers’ things: custom-built rifles, pistol carbines, shells, whizz-bang, helmets, gas masks, shovels, boots, water bags, bullets and cartridges. Part of the found things was transferred to the Headquarters of student teams of Saint Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering for further exhibitions.
