SPSUACE is a participant of XII St.-Petersburg International Book Salon

The St.-Petersburg state university of architecture and civil engineering took part in XII St.-Petersburg International Book Salon. According to the results of participation the university was awarded with the certificate of honor, and teachers with diplomas of different degrees.

The Salon purpose is popularization of modern and classic Russian literature in the world and rising the youth interest to read.

The chairman of the council of Federation of Federal meeting of the Russian Federation V.I.Matvienko, the governor of St.-Petersburg G.S.Poltavchenko, the chairman of Legislative Assembly of St.-Petersburg V.S.Makarov, the president of the Russian book union S.V.Stepashin, a deputy head of Federal agency on the press and mass communications V.V.Grigoriev took part in the solemn opening of Book Salon-2017.

The Year of ecology and the 100 anniversary of revolutionary events of 1917 in Russia became the main themes of Book Salon. On Manezhnaya Square two interactive objects were presented: a historical labyrinth «Travel to 1917» and a project «In the Water canal orbit», acquainted children with the newest technologies of water treating. During the Salon official meetings and negotiations with foreign delegations, performances of authors of books took place, a children's playground «Our book garden» worked.

Teachers of SPSUACE brought to attention of Petersburgers and city visitors 21 book editions. The most active was the Faculty of Automobile and Road Building (showed 12 works). Teachers V.P.Kalyavin and N.A.Davidov received the diploma of I degree for the edition «Reliability and diagnostics of auto-motor means» in a nomination «Motor industry and transport systems». Also Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of forensic investigation and law in construction and Faculty of Environmental Engineering and Municipal Services participated in the Salon.

XIII St.-Petersburg International Book Salon will take place in the spring of 2018.
