St. Petersburg Government Scholarship Awarded to SPbGASU Students

On December 20, the management of the Committee for External Relations of St. Petersburg held a meeting with students from the Baltic countries who became the winners of the competition for nominal scholarships from the Northern Capital Government in the 2021/2022 academic year. Among them are Anastasia Loskutova, Igor Loginov and Ilya Smirnovs, SPbGASU students.
Diplomas to the winners of the competition were presented by Sergey Markov, Deputy Chairman of the St. Petersburg Committee for External Relations.
“The competition was won by students who have “good” and “excellent” points, are engaged in science, participate in the public life of the university,” said Yulia Ivanova, Deputy Head of SPbGASU International Relations Division.
“The award of the scholarship came as a complete surprise to me,” Anastasia Loskutova, a third-year student of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, shared her impressions. - I get straight As, have prepared two scientific articles."
“I am a good student, in my first year I did research work on a 3D printer. I am very glad that I was awarded a scholarship from the Government of St. Petersburg,” commented Igor Loginov, a fourth-year student of the Faculty of Civil Engineering.
Fifth-year student of the Faculty of Architecture Ilya Smirnovs is also a good learner. “I took second place at the All-Russian forum “We are changing cities” and, as part of the team, became a finalist in the international competition “LETI – Environment of the Future”. The journal "Innovations, Science, Education" published two of my articles on green architecture and green roofs. After the awards ceremony, we were given a tour to Smolny, which was very interesting,” said Ilya.
