Alina Kvashuk, senior lecturer, research fellow and PhD student at the SPbGASU Department of Geotechnics, became the winner of the St Petersburg Government competition in the field of scientific and pedagogical activity for 2024. The competition work presented was a textbook on the foundation engineering, actively used by students in the direction of "Civil engineering" as part of course design.

The competition is held by the Committee for Science and Higher Education of St Petersburg within the state program "Knowledge Economics" to identify and encourage the best representatives of professionally oriented youth, motivate their professional growth, and reproduce scientific and pedagogical personnel.
